Resistance is Futile, Act 2, sc. ii
This is an old gag thanks to Mikey Evans. He brought it into my office probably 10 years ago, and I used it in a spoof edition of The Lance to lampoon another body who was in med school at the time. It's the joke that keeps on giving :)
On a side note, this is the 23rd anniversary to the day that I saw Jurassic Park for the first time. What a cool movie :) Maybe I'll watch it today!

Existence
For a long while I've wanted to get some ink nibs and try inking with them. You can get a really great stylized look with a good ink nib and it's something I've really admired in other strips, but haven't been able to recreate. I was out and bumped into an art supply store and found some nibs, snagged 'em and this is my first work with them. I'm not quite sure which nibs to use and when, and I had to do a lot of retouching in this panel before publishing, but it was good to use them. See if you notice much of a difference going forward in these strips.
