Ho ho! Looks like Mr. Minestrone was sneaking a cigarette! Maybe he's not a reformed smoker like he'd have us believe! It's a good thing he's got a manipulative extortionist for a granddaughter to keep him line - - now who has no agency on their own behalf?

Mr. Wallace here .... we're beginning to see some of his true colours, it would appear. It's quite the challenge to write like this. I can't imagine any person sounds like this guy, but in my mind, I think it makes him sound Scottish. Or like a pirate. Or a Newfie. I don't know :S

Beardo's trying to keep up with the other trainees, but they're a bit out of his league. Remember, he was once a promising young boxer, though, that was a lifetime ago. Let's hope he can find his form before the recruiters make a final decision on who gets to be the next man in space!
